Starting out on a big series wave, even if you're a little late, holding the drop and tracing a precise line to lodge yourself in the heart of a tube as beautiful as it is frightening provides one of the best sensations there is. This is what we call "charging", and some spots represent the ultimate challenge for all enthusiasts of the discipline. Banzai Pipeline in Hawaii, Teahupoo in Tahiti, Puerto Escondido in Mexico or La Gravière in south-west France, all these spots have in common that they offer the biggest barrels in the world, but also the most severe wipeouts. Our Charger Series ponchos, inspired by the gun decorations of the 80s and 90s, celebrate both the beauty of these mythical waves and the courage of those who ride them.
